Vernazza Room
Hi,
Been researching rooms in Vernazza for a few days. Am thinking about Giuliano's rooms but wanted to get your thoughts on this place and others. This will be for our honeymoon and I care more about the view and the romance of the place and city than the price for the night.
Thanks,
E

Here is what I wrote on a previous post:
Message: We stayed in a B&B (actually there was no breakfast) in Vernazza. The man who owns the room (there were three rooms on the side of the hill up above the train station) is Giuliano Basso, email address is [email protected]. The rooms were great - new and had a wonderful deck/patio overlooking Vernazza and the ocean. It was great! The price was also great - 62E per night - in October of 2002. The only negative was the climb up the side of hill - quite a few steps! There is a website: http://www.cdh.it/giuliano/
The view is wonderful - the rooms are nice enough - not luxurious by any means though. There are three rooms side by side with all sharing the terrace area. We were lucky in that no one else was there, so we had the whole terrace to ourselves. The website gives a realistic picture of the rooms and view.
Good luck and have a wonderful time!

First, let me say that I am a big fan of the CT but...
Mid-April is definitely off-season and I would think you should not have any problems finding a room for a night other than the fact that it is a Saturday night. No one here will give you a guarantee. Most places there won't even respond now as they are closed at this time of the year.
BTW-CT for one night w/o reservation on a honeymoon seems to be a reach. You might want to rethink your schedule.
Ciao, Paul
