Lodging in Vernazza, italy

We will be in Cinque Terra for 3 days, the first week in June. Any suggestions for lodging, preferably with a sea view? Thanks

We stayed in Manarola at Casa Capellini which was very basic but had a fabulous view. Follow this link for Vernazza suggestions:

Here is what I wrote on a previous post:
We stayed in a B&B (actually there was no breakfast) in Vernazza. The man who owns the room (there were three rooms on the side of the hill up above the train station) is Giuliano Basso, email address is [email protected]. The rooms were great - new and had a wonderful deck/patio overlooking Vernazza and the ocean. It was great! The price was also great - 62E per night - in October of 2002. The only negative was the climb up the side of hill - quite a few steps! There is a website: http://www.cdh.it/giuliano/

The view is wonderful - the rooms are nice enough - not luxurious by any means though. There are three rooms side by side with all sharing the terrace area. We were lucky in that no one else was there, so we had the whole terrace to ourselves. The website gives a realistic picture of the rooms and view.

danen5: If you go to http://www.arbaspaa.com as suggested, you can see descriptions and photos of all their properties. I think they have rooms/apartments in all the CT towns. If interested, email Eugenio Bordoni at [email protected]. We stayed in two of their apartments with balconies overlooking the sea in Manarola for five nights last October, and Eugenio was great, helping us plan our stay and meeting us at the train station to take us to the apts.

Ditto what blh has told you. My husband and I stayed in one of Giuliano's rooms in May 2002. Once we schlepped our bags up the hill (whew!), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in his lovely room with a great bathroom, and a terrific view of the sea. We made fun friends during our two night stay, and had a great evening drinking wine with new friends on the terrace. We would definitely stay there again.
