I am really interested in visiting a winery that produces Vernaccia in San Gimignano. I have been looking and have not come across any that offer free winery tours (like their counterparts in other areas of Tuscany). Has anyone had any luck with touring a winery in San Gimignano and if so which one? We are not looking to go on a guided tour with a tour group, but simply to contact the winery and ask for a private tour.
