Venice: Where to Park and then how to get to Rialto Bridge
Hello fellow travelers,
I am driving a car from Ljubljana to Venice and staying in Venice for a few nights at a place right near the Rialto Bridge.
My questions are:
Where do I park my car (Tronchetta Car Parking)?
What is the best way to get from the parking lot to the Rialto Bridge?
I know that I could walk it, but google maps tells me its a 45 minute walk and I really don't want to have to lug around my luggage for that long. There has to be a faster way.

Hello jssmith, if you park at Mestre you take the train into the Santa Lucia train station which is right along the Grand Canal in Venice. The train trip is ten minutes or so. And than you can take the vaporetto from there to your hotel.
