Venice to Rome Help Please

Hi,

I was hoping to travel from Venice to Rome on the 9th Jan. 2008, but I have been checking the train timetable and it seems there is only one early morning train. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Cathyanne - The January timetable isn't up yet on the trenitalia website.

There are many trains throughout the day on this route.

Put in tomorrow's date to see frequency:
http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

Hope this helps ...

Steve

Thanks.
I started to worry. I thought they may not have many trains during the winter - silly me!
I will check closer to the date.
Cheers,
Liz

For a route that has many daily trains, you can even wait and easily purchase tickets once you are in Italy at the train stations.

You may also be checking www.raileurope.com who often lists only one odd train for that route

be sure there are about hourly trains every day of the year

Thanks,

I think I am trying to be a bit too organised on this trip. But it's getting so close now, I am becoming really excited.

Thanks again for your assistance.
