venice to maranello- in one day -any tips

Hi there , my FERRARI mad boyfriend and I are going to venice end of sept for two nights. He would really love to see the home of ferrari( he does not own one !!I wish!!) Anyway whats the best way to get there from venice ?
Is it feasible in one day?
And is there any thing else to do in Maranello??
Thank you

It's doable--about a 2 hour drive. But if you are going to use one of your 2 Venice days, I wouldn't advise it. Either go to Venice for both days, or skip Venice and do the Ferrari thing.

My husband is also a Ferrari Fan. Have been to many "car places" over the years. Went to the Ferrari "museum" in Marinello in 1996 just after their new location opened. There wasn't much there to see in my opinion. Maybe they have more now. Nothing else to do in Marinello. Modena is just a few miles away and has a bit more to see, however, definitely not worth giving up a day in Venice or even worth a 4 hour round trip drive.

Hi rady,

Have you checked train/bus schedules?

I think that you will need a car.

He really wants to give up a day in Venice to go look at cars?
