Venice to Chique Terre

We will be in Venice in October and have 2 nights to get accomodation booked in Nice.
We plan on picking up a car in Venice and would love to see CT region can any one suggest the best drive for us?
Do we need to stop overnight on the way there? if so any recomendations?
Also where to stay in CT.
We are dropping the car off in San Remo how do we get from San Remo to Nice?
Bus or Train?

Hi,
We drove from the CT to Venice a few years ago. We did stay over night in Verona, but it was not necessary. I think the drive was about 6 ? hours from the CT to Venice. I forget the route we took, but I think we drove to Florence and then North. Obviously you would reverse this route. We tried to stay on the highways. Have a great trip.

Hi TJM,

See www.mappy.com or www.viamichelin.com for driving directions and maps.
