Hello and happy Travel to all. A group of us have decided to meet on the crest of the Rialto bridge in Venice and May 23rd at 6:00.
We plan on trekking to a nearby place for a beverage and some good conversation. We are all travel board members and would love to have others join us. We will be posting pictures from this "get-together" . Please join us and bring your favorite italy experience with you to share with everyone else.

ttt means "taking to top" when your post start getting to low on the board you ttt to get more people viewing it..


I sorta doubt we will still be in Venice in September although I came to Ft Lauderale for a week and have been here 17 years..LOL

Gary, One final buon viaggio to you. Wish we could meet, but as I reported two weeks ago, we sadly will be winging home at 6 PM on the 23rd while all you lucky Fodorites will be on the Rialto Bridge!! What a bummer for me! Have a great trip and we'll all report back.

PeggyAnn, sorry you won't be able to join us.I promise to drink a toast to you when the group meets. I can hardly wait to start sampling some on the fine Italian wines...Have a wonderful, safe trip and hope to compare notes when we get back.
