venice italy hotels

We are looking for a small hotel in Venice, Italy -- we waited to long and the hotel we wanted to stay at (Hotel Flora) is booked for the dates we need. Price range we are looking for is between 180 euros to 280 euros -- dates June 17th and 18th --

Thanks

Rather than wait for replies, I'd get busy. Type "Venice hotels" into the search box, and many recent threads will come up.

Or you might want to use a booking engine such as veniceby.com, just to see what is available on your dates, and then ask here what the places are like.

I tried it and it came up with 361 properties with availablity on those dates (2 nights arriving 17 June). One of them is Locanda Orseola, which is probably the favorite place suggested here. So if the website is accurate, you're in luck.

Probably the best way to sort through the results is to have them ranked by "guest rating". Locanda Orseola popped up third on that list. You migh task about the others too. Good luck to you.

venere.com might give a more accurate list of availablity---I see Hotel Flora shows up on the VeniceBy list for your dates, but you say it is booked. So Orseola may not be available either. But it's worth a try if you like it after reading reviews here.

We've just returned from a stay at the Colombina - very nice, centrally located and we paid $197/night.
