Venice in April or May?
I was in Venice 2 years ago: in late Spet-early October and it was wonderful.
Plan to return next year, in Aoril or May. Mostof the posting I see in Fodor are about flooding (which I know is about Nov-Jan) or visiting in Sept.
Can anyone tell me about visiting in April-May: about the weather and temperature? thanks

During our time in Venice last April (the last week of April, to be exact), the weather was glorious.
The weather forecast had predicted rain, but every day was bright and sunny, and the nights were clear and cool.
The days were maybe in the mid 60s - a light silk sweater and light coat over it was all I needed in the shade. In the sun I took off the coat - but I'm from Hawaii, so maybe you wouldn't need the coat at all.

during my last trip in venetia in april, at easter time, we have had 10 days of rain...I think weather is better in Italy in May, as in France where I live. Venice is in the north of Italy and May is perfect for heat, not too excessive.
