Venice Hotel Recommendation for One night
Hi There,
I have posted a while back regarding my upcoming honeymoon vacation. After our cruise, we will be in Venice for 2 days before taking the train to Florence for 4 days.
Being busy with work and wedding planning, we left out the Venice hotel planning by mistake. I am finding Trip Advisor and the Hotel Review on this site a bit overwhelming. I need some help finding a nice clean hotel in a good area for under $200.
Can anyone recommend anything?
Much appreciated

Try Palazzo Guardi. It has a great Dorsiduro location and beautiful rooms IF you specify rooms with a view. It has a main building and annex. I hear the annex is nice but have not seen it. Rooms 4 and 5 in main building are fantastic.
Click on my name to find the trip report that includes Venice for a more complete description and pictures of the rooms. The pictures on their website are accurate. Just know that the outside of the building is somewhat off putting as are so many hotels in Venice. The elevator to the hotel floor is so small, that the only way 2 people can ride together is if they embrace, but hey, its your honeymoon so that should be an advantage.

We recently stayed in Venice for one night after a cruise. It was a Friday night and we had difficulty finding a hotel willing to rent for just one night. We wound up the American Dineson and it was very nice, but were rejected by all of our first choice spots!
