venice B&B
Hi,
Has anyone stayed in B&B Carpe Diem in S.Polo region in Venice?
i am getting a good rate for April - but I cant seem to find any review about the place in the net. Is it advisable to take up this B&B, or should I pay a few more euros & stay in a tried & tested place?
My budget is not more than 100 euro/night for 2 people - any suggestions?
please help.

Why not make your own history all by yourselves? What's the worst that can happen?
You'll still be in wonderful Venice and maybe you will get mega value somewhere nobody else has tried. And maybe you won't.
But if you never go, you'll never know.

Hi S,
CD has gotten 2 good reviews on www.venere.com
If you are not the trailblazing type, you might want to consider
www.hotelbernardi.com
www.hotelriva.it/
www.alcampaniel.com/
I think that they are all within your budget.

thanks guys, i think i will try out this unrated, unreviewed b&b. As fuzzylogic says 'I ll still be in Venice - so how bad can it be?'
and once i m back, expect a review from me about this charming unheard, unknown B&B smack in the middle of Venice at an unimaginable budget.
keeping my fingers crossed.

Good for you.
You know, all this information available on the net is an insidious thing. I plead guilty up to a point.
Like if you need to book in advance you do the research, and it's nice to know that you have made an approved choice.
At the same time, sometimes you don't want to book in advance (you don't quite know where you are going) and so you just pitch up. And most of the time just pitching up lands you in some great places.
So why not apply the same philosophy sometimes to booking in advance if the price and location are right.
I really do look forward to finding out how it goes, though could be a while before I'm back in Venice.
All the best.
