no vehicle magical romantic city in the whole world...

Thanks for sharing! Completely agree with you... the most magical way to see Venice is to ditch the map and just get lost

Great shot of the Bascilca San Marco!!! I was there last October and the entire lower left portion was hidden by plywood while they did some work on it...
You're so lucky to see it this way.
Great report, and I loved the way you put in pictures as you went, so we felt like we were walking along with you.
Thanks for the memories.. That was my 3rd trip to Venice.

Thanks a lot @bitsy1.. looking at the San Marco was indeed a precious moment.. sad that it was hidden by plywood when you went.. time for another trip maybe
