Venere.Com / Hotel Miami - Rome

Has anyone used Venere.com? Are they reliable?

Also, has anyone stayed in the Hotel Miami? Is it clean/convenient to major sights?

Any help would be great!

We stayed at the Hotel Miami a few years ago and loved it. The location was not smack in the middle of all the usual tourist stuff...but even with our small children in tow we were able to walk everywhere and never needed a taxi or anything. The hotel was in a safe area, we did not hear any noise, our room was quite large very clean, and the bathroom was very nice. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Venere.com is by far my favorite hotel-booking website for international travel. You are never charged until you check out of the hotel, and you receive a confirmation from the hotel itself when you book. I've never run into a problem with my bookings through venere.

They're fine, but be careful of the cancellation policy. We used tham last week and wanted to switch our final night hotel, only to find our that we had to cancel a full 7 days prior to the reservation of lose a nights deposit. We didn't end up cancelling.
