VAT refund for jewelry purchase
Six months ago I purchased gold jewelry at Olympico jewelry in Athens with the promise of the VAT refund. I got the form stamped at the airport & put it in the mail slot as instructed by the store. So far, I have not received a refund and an e-mail to the salesman has gone unanswered. Have you had any luck getting a refund? Thanks!

I have always gotten my VAT refund back in the form of a credit. I just purchased a LV handbag Wednesday and I mailed back the form. It does take about 5-6 weeks to get the credit. If it has been 6 months, you're not getting it. Did you mail the form in Greece? If you mailed it from another country, you must pay additional postage. Otherwise, it will not be delivered.
