VAT????
I received a global refund cheque after I purchased a LV purse in the Czech Republic. The man told me I could get it taken care of at the airport in Frankfurt.
We arrived at the airport and was sent to 6 different places, noone stamped it for me. Part of the airport was closed off, so that is all I could do before I had to leave.
Is there anything I can do now?
I am sure that I am out that money, I just thought it would not hurt to ask all of you.
TIA,
Jackie

Get in touch with the commercial representative of the closest Czech consulate. I had problems with a VAT refund from Ireland and the consulate was helpful, although in this case it involved outright fraud.

It is so frustrating! My husband said " they make it hard so you won't get the money". LOL
The VAT is the only reason I waitied and bought the purse here.
Thanks again,
Jackie
