VARENNA OR MENNAGGIO HOTELS

Can someone please recommend a hotel that is 3-4* with A?C Thanks

I am still trying- belvedere won't guarantee a room with A/C, du lac won't do anything till Dec. and others want us to take two doubles not a quad- which won't work with my kids. It gets complicated.

thanks for the suggestion- I looked it up and it does look very nice. Emailed them for availability. Do you know- does du lac always wait until close to new year to book for following summer?

Debbie,<BR>When we stayed in Bellagio last year, we took the ferry over to Menaggio one day - the one day it actually didn't rain! Absolutely could not find a thing to do - not sure if we just totally missed everything - but we wandered for about 2 hours and found nothing! I would stick to Bellagio - I really don't think you will need A/C - you rarely do in Europe.
