Vaparetto Routes in Venice
Does anyone know what vaparetto to take from the area where cruise ships dock to get to the train station in Venice? Also, does anyone know how long the trip is (including stops)? I've got about two hours between the time I disembark until the time my train leaves for Milan.

In general, two hours should be enough. Cruise ships stop at a few different locations, so to offer the best answer we need more details.

If you don't have a lot of luggage, you might also consider the people-mover to Piazzale Roma and then walk the rest of the way.

Yes. We go to Zadar, Hvar, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Trojir and Piran (not necessariliy in that order). Glad to here you liked the ship. I understand it's basically brand new.

A couple of days ago we took the vaporetto from the train station to San Basilio stop. The journey was around 30 minutes. Cost is E7 per person. Validate your ticket before boarding. I don't remember seeing a ticket booth there but there is certainly one at Zattere, 200m further up. If you need supplies for your journey there is a Billa supermarket say 30m from the San Basilio stop. There is a restaurant right at the stop if you need to dine or have a coffee or drink. Happy travels.

just to add to the previous: If you already have Vaporetto tickets validate them before boarding the boat, if you don't have tickets yet you can buy them aboard the Vaporetto from the guy/woman opening and closing the gate to let you hop on. Price stays the same: 7 Euro single ride. No need to run down to Zattere with your luggage - except you enjoy the walk along the beautiful promenade.
Two hours are far more than enough time. Line 2 will be your choice from San Basilio. You want to take the Vaporetto proceeding from left to right when you face the waterfront (direction to Piazzale Roma - your stop will be one further). The Vaporetto stop at the train station is called "Ferrovia". The line will serve every 10 min most probably when you arrive. Sometimes it is every 20 min. The ride itself will take 30 min.
The stop Ferrovia is directly in front of the station building. If you have quite a lot of luggage and the Vaporetto is crowded be prepared to exit the boat on the left hand side first stop after Piazzale Roma.
If you have spare time you might better spend it in the San Basilio area than at the railway station, though watching chaotic life in Canal Grande in front of the station can be quite fun, too ...
