Valencia >> Menorca ferry
Hello wise people!
We're meant to be on Menorca in early-mid September (for 2 wks). Our plan is to drive from our home in Portugal and take the ferry over. It's long and expensive, but we are *really* trying to avoid airports (and we have no time limits).
Does anyone have any intel on the ferries? I can and will look up specific dates, etc. but I'm looking for "Oh, don't take that ferry line, it's the worst" or "definitely do Barcelona ferry not Valencia because..."-type of feedback.
Grateful for any intel you can share.

Trasmediterranea has 1 weekly overnight ferry from Valencia to Menorca and several other overnight ferries up to Palma only.
Balearia has overnight ferries from Valencia to Palma and a afternoon ferry from Denia to Palma (ar 22.15).
Alcudia (Mallorca) - Ciutadela (Menorca) is run by different companies.
I cannot see big differencies between the different companies.
