Valencia budget hotel

I haven't seen any posts on a cheap hotel in valencia for a single traveller...any recommendations? i don't need anything too fancy, but a bathroom would be nice...somewhere around 30-40euros seems to work everywhere else in spain.

thanks!

30 to 40 euros seems a bit low regardless of the season, but you can check out the following hotels which are close to your budget.

3-star Villarreal, Angel Guimera, 58. 29 rooms.
3-star Hotel Husa Serrano, General Urrutia, 48. 105 rooms.
3-star NH Abashiri, Avenida Ausías March, 59. 168 rooms.

Plaza del Ayuntamiento is as central as you can be in Valencia But, it is a very quiet zone in the night. No good if you want to have a bit of nightife , heehehe. Anyway, it's not very far from Barrio del Carmen when the nightlife is And also it is near from the main highlights in Valencia. I don't know the hotel.

there are plenty of hostals and inexpensive hotels in valencia.however, i am not familiar with most of them.

i have seen the rooms HERE as i put a friend here one night.
so..
it is basic, clean and includes a continental breakfast for a very fair price.

see if www.gtahotels.com has a better rate, but here is their website.

http://www.hotel-valencia.com/

the husa serrran and abashiri are not convenient to the old section of where you are going to want to be, but are NOT in bad location for the science center. and there ARE busses that go 'downtown'.

but besides the science center, or port activities.. not my favorite area.

may 10-22 might be difficult to get a room if you wait too long due to the america's cup regattas.
