Vacation in Paris "Eiffel Hideaway" #56

Has anyone recently stayed in Vacation in Paris' Eiffel Hideaway #56?

Two of us are renting it in October and wonder what it's like. It is comfortable and well-appointed? Are there any tricky appliances? Does the wireless internet work well?

Thanks!

Contact Happygoing on Our Paris Forum. She stayed there. She also posts at Tripadvisor. We stayed in the downstairs apartment in the same building. It is a good location and the price was right. nothing fancy about that apartment though.

Suzanne -thanks for your info. Don't really need fancy, good location is important. Just want more space than a triple hotel room for a few days. Can you recommend any restaurants in the area? Mom & 2 teens so moderately priced.

Betsy, There are tons of restaurants in the area. Grocery stores on Rue Cler and a good crepe stand. The Cafe Bon Marche is right around the corner from the apartment. There is a good little place further up the street next to the post office. Buy a roasted chicken or get chinese takeout on Rue Cler.

Betsy, I stayed in #56 with a friend for a month. It was comfortable, well-appointed, convenient and quiet. You can sleep two in the bedroom and 1-2 in the living area (there's a trundle bed). There is one full bathroom and a half-bath. Wireless internet works well.

In terms of a convenient location you can't do better than this area; many restaurants and cafes, the Rue Cler market for shopping and the metro close by.

Vacation in Paris was a good organization to work with.
Hope this helps.
