We are considering purchasing 3 day Vienna Passes for Oct 12-16 but cannot find the information on how to make required timed reservations for the following sights and hope someone has had experience using it recently:
Spanish Riding School - training
Schloss Schonbrunn Grand Tour
Vienna State Opera tour
Hofburg Palace - Sisi Museum and Imperial Apartments
Belvedere Palace - Upper Belvedere - Sunday, October 15 (This is listed as a fast track site but the website for the Palace says that a timed entry must be booked.)

I contacted the Vienna Pass office and they suggested the follwoing:
Spanish Riding School training - Show up 20 minutes before training to get a standing room pass.
Schonbrunn - Go there to book a timed slot. I suppose we could walk around the Carriage Museum and gardens if one isn't immediately available.
Vienna State Opera - They said there would be instructions on how to book a tour when the Vienna Pass is purchased.
For the other sites, they said to just show up with your Vienna Pass.

I have checked the sites for these places and except for limited Opera English tours, timed slots seem to be readily available. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that we won't regret foregoing making timed reservations before we leave in order to use the pass, which would save quite a bit of money.
