Useful website for France

I recently came across a website that seems to offer a lot for the visitor to France. In my limited usage, I've been impressed.

http://www.france-voyage.com/en/

We're compiling information for a trip. While I was trying to track down a good website for historic architecture, this website turned up. I've used it twice, to look up L'Isle-Adam and Dieppe, and both times it gave me a good long list of things to see and do in the area.

It will customize an itinerary for the length of time you specify and your interests that you choose from their list. It has interactive maps.

I'm sure it has limitations but I haven't spent much time with it. Just thought I'd pass it on to Fodorites to see what you think.

Thanks for posting.

I have run across this website numerous times but I haven't really played with it so was unaware it had some of the functions you mention. I always use the tourist office websites but the planning feature of this website makes it interesting. I'll have to try it sometime but this sounds like an excellent website that would help a lot of travelers. Once I play with it I'll probably start recommending it as well.

From the few clicks I did, this is an extremely useful site, easier to use than Gîte de France for B&Bs. Thanks for posting.
