I think it is worth the effort. Migraines are crummy but they are non lifethreatening. And it's nice not to be so imprisoned by food limitations.

I’m convinced the US is doing it wrong
I cannot agree more with this post. It’s as if, I wrote it myself. I had the exact same experiences living in the US vs. Ireland. Was constantly sick from dairy, almost cut it out completely. Then moved to Ireland and was scarfing down blocks of cheese like it was my job, issue free. I don’t know the health codes in America vs. Europe but it was always startling that their eggs were on the shelf, thought that was a bad thing. Until my symptoms disappeared after eating dairy. Then I was all aboard the America is poisoning me train.
