Hello Bob! So glad to see you dip your toe back in the water, so to speak.
There are so many of us here on Fodors...who aren't the most active posters but have also greatly benefited from your posts, trip reports and tips. I am just one.
All the best on your current "journey". I'll be thinking about you and looking forward to hearing more from you in the future.

So happy that you are back!! I was just reading some of
your reports on Northern Italy. We are planning on going in the fall and will be staying at Hotel Grones. Thanks to you and mr_go for the info.

Bob...a "partial Bob" is okay for us to accept as long as the goal is a full recovery. We're with you every step of the way old friend. In the name of Jerry Garcia, Keep on truckin' my man! keep on truckin'.....

Bob, your presence is sorely missed. You have offered wonderful advice from a kind and genuine perspective since I joined this board and probably long before that. You don't strike me as the kind of guy who lets anything get him down for long. I am sure you will fight your way back soon. Best wishes to both you and Susan.

Bob, I had been wondering how and where you were and just found this thread.
You and LoveItaly were two of the first Fodorites I encountered here and were always so generous with advice and suggestions.
So glad you are back in the game here and sending you all my best!!

Hi Bob- wishing you a speedy recovery! I see a lot of patients who have sustained strokes, and just remember it takes time- it's a slow recovery. Give yourself 6 months to a year and keep doing the therapy!
