underground tour of colosseum

Just took our tour of colosseum yesterday. We booked on internet thanks to Kybourbon and his great tip and it was fantastic! Skipped the line and yes it took us both underneath and the top tier. Kids and us thought it was fantastic and so much cheaper than going with a private tour.

Caroline 65- I am glad to hear it was wonderful. Do you mind my asking the size of the group on this direct booked tour? Do you feel group size made a difference? We are also debating booking through the Colosseum's booking agent or using a company like walks of italy. I'd be grateful for your input.

Cjar, We booked the tour through the Pieriici about 2 years ago and the group size was no more than 15. The Guide was excellent.

Pierreci is no longer the booking agent. It's now called Coopculture and the Pierreci website rolls over to it.

Thanks! We booked via coop culture too! Curious what time you went and if that affected your enjoyment. Thanks.

Ok. Looks like coopculture booking is the way to go. Fodorites are the absolute nicest and most helpful people. All of this advice means so much to those without as much experience.
