Two night castle stay in Connemara or Clare
My sixth trip to Ireland in May with BIL and SIL. I usually stay in B&B's.
We would like to stay in a castle or manor house for 1 or 2 nights in either Connemara or Clare at the end of the trip - May 27 and May 28.
I checked out Ballynahinch Castle, Dromoland Castle and Abbeyglen Castle and I was astounded at the prices - minimum of 300 euros per night per room.
Also considering the Falls Hotel in Country Clare. Don't really care about all the spa features but more about the atmosphere.
Are there any lower priced, good value places to stay that are a bit fancier than a B&B? We will be traveling the coastline in Northern Ireland and then heading down to Connemara and Clare before leaving from Shannon Airport.
