Tuscany vs Amalfi coast
Planning a two week trip in late March and early April ( should we wait until later in the spring ? ) and wanted to spend time in Tuscany and the coast. Should we attempt Amalfi or do we try Cinque Terre instead. Actually, if spending two weeks where would you go? We were planning a week in each location.

Wait until a bit later if you can. March & early April can be rainy and/or chilly. You never know, but earlier is iffy. I've been to the AC several times and could easily spend a week to ten days there, so much to see and do. When I went it April, it was chilly and rainy, but not all day and not miserably so.
Tried to get to the CT one April, but it was cold and pouring rain on the coast, so we stayed in Luca a couple of nights, hoping it would get better. When it didn't, we went to Florence where it was still cold, but sunny.
So, just be aware that weather can be an issue for both places, particularly the CT. Perhaps, don't book everything ahead - have plan a and plan b or wait until late April.

I would;t do any of them before May. Much of the Amalfi Coast is closed (hotels, restaurants, shops etc) until Easter - and even then many ferries don;t run and the pools/beach are not open until mid May at the earliest.
Tuscany can be toured earlier - but late March is still winter and many trees won;t be in leaf, etc that early.
