There is a company called Tuscan Enterprises with offices in Florence and Castellini in Chianti who produce a large catalogue of available villas and farmhouse accomodation. We have just returned from Italy where we spent a week in a farmhouse at Abbadiola in Tuscany - absolutely delightful! We made our booking through the Tuscan Enterprises office in Sydney, Australia.

We have just returned from an extremely lovely week at a villa near San Gimignano (the villa is called Il Castagno). We found it through www.toscanet.com but you can likely contact them directly. It is a gorgeous property which was very conveniently located with charming, clean and modern flats in refurbished outbuildings. I recommend it highly. There are lots of other very nice looking properties on the toscanet site. Good luck!

spent three weeks in a villa through tuscanestates.com
be specific as some of the names of the houses are similar, we had a misunderstanding. but the house had everything we'd asked for and a fabulous housekeeper/cook. it was casa nuova in the south of siena province. personally i would've chosen something closer to florence and siena but it wasn't up to me. we were happy with bruce at tuscan estates and are hoping he has places in france.

We just returned from spending one week in Tuscany. The villa was south west of Florence. There were 6 apartments in the villa. A lovely swimming pool and great hosts. It had 1 and 2 bedroom units. Check out the website www.letorri.com.
