Tuscany-Umbria

My husband and I would like to spend a week on a farm in Tuscany or Umbria next Spring. We have been to both areas several times, once renting a house in Cortona, but usually staying at hotels. Can anyone recommend a farm that bottles their own wine and olive oil and welcomes guests? We want to enjoy the locals and are not interested in anything 'pricey.' Any information you can share is appreciated.

Margo,
We stayed at Molina le Gualchiere in Loro Ciuffenna.
We rented through a great company!
Italy Farm Holidays! They are located in the states, so making the arrangements was a snap!!

They offer several properties, in a variety of price ranges. Check it out...we had a terrific stay, in our apartment!!

The above is a wonderful vineyard about 3 km outside Montalcino. You will
need a car but there are many little towns very close (within a half hour)
Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, Sant Antimo, Monte Oliveto
Maggiore, Buonconvento, Murlo. The driving is easy and the food and wine in
each town is special. If you want more information e-mail me.
