Tuscany adventures with kids need help!
My husband, my parents and our two children will be staying outside of Sienna in a villa for a week in July. We are planning on spending one day in Florence, any tips on other places to go in Tuscany that would be interesting for our 10 and 12 year old children?

My girls like the Torture Museum in San Gimignano when they were that age. They also like climbing the towers in that town and having gelato--lots of gelato! If you go to Lucca, they might like to rent bikes and ride up on top of the walls surrounding the city. In Florence, kids enjoy the Science Museum and La Specola Museum which has fascinating wax models. In Vinci, the museum devoted to Leonardo da Vinci's work is interesting. If you do go to Vinci, try and go to the little town of Artimino and have lunch at Delfino. Get a seat on the terrace and enjoy the amazing view of the Tuscan countryside and Villa Medici.
