Norwegian Airline to Italy? Any experience?
i just saw an incredible $784 round trip (BOS-VCe, Rome-Bos) via Skyscanner. I've never seen Norwegian Airlines in my results before. Any personal feedback on their quality, on-time, safety, etc?

I've only flown them short-haul, but have done so a few times. They are quite civilized for a budget carrier and they have new 787s on their long-haul routes. Seating looks cramped, but not egregiously so.
That being said, they are a low-cost carrier, so make sure to add up all the stuff you might want to utilize - checked luggage, seat reservation, food, etc. - to ensure you are actually getting a deal. I'd also be a little nervous about how well they might handle irregular operations, especially given they don't fly the same routes ex-BOS every day.

Good points. My gut is nervous too, so I should probably look for the next best option. Although it seems like many folks don't like the other lower-price carriers I've been seeing- Alitalia and United.
Aer Lingus had worked for me before, but the layovers aren't good...yet.
Knowing my luck, no matter what I pick, these flights could all have time changes by the time our May 2016 flight rolls around.
