Tulip update?
Does anyone know of websites that give updates on when the tulips are expected to bloom in Holland (Netherlands) this year (2013)? Is there any way to track the progressof the blooming that gives locations of the best places to see the flowers?
Or, does anyone have personal knowledge of this?
Thanks for any input anyone has.

It's still very cold here. No snow worth mentioning thank goodness, but still cold. It is currently 2C here.
The weather forecast is for it to warm up gradually, over the next two weeks but with night frosts for a least another weeks.
All bulbs are behind in their flowering, though today I did notice a brave tulip flower peeking out of it's leaves in a garden near me. The stalk was only a couple of inches tall, so it is clearly a confused tulip. Daffodils seem to have given up the struggle, crocuses are still in bloom, along with snowdrops, and hyacinths are just trying to flower now too.
At Keukenhof they have had to put out forced tulips to give the place some colour as the early bulbs just aren't flowering.
However the sun has been shining, and it has real warmth to it now, so I expect though they may be delayed a week or so that the tulips will be blooming by the end of April.
I may be heading north next week in which case I'll watch out for developments in the fields along the way.
