Thanks for the link PalenQ. Is the National Museum Card similar to the Museumkaat? I plan to purchase that card. The Dutch Resistance Museum, Our Lord in the Attic, and Rembrandt's House are on my lists among a few others.>
Yes one and the same - I think though Museumkaat must be Museumkaart
Traveller1959, I chose Mount Rigi based on advice I received on the TA Lucerne board. Now I am just confused! #Haha>
Well Mt Titlis also near Lucerne is much more an Alpine wonder than Mt Pilatus and features a unique revolving cable car but if going to the Berner Oberland you'll be surrounded by an Alpine Wonderland so may just want to do lake boats, etc in Lucerne.

Mt Pilatus yes is Alpine but you can see from comparing the images it is an isolated outpost in the Alps, often without any snow, etc whereas Titlis has perpetual snow and glaciers - trains go to Engleberg from where you hop to rotating gondola to Mt Titlis proper - can combine a boat trip to a lakeside station also on the Engleberg rail line.
