Trying to decide if we should buy TGV Mediterranee train tickets from CDG to Avignon

We are arriving at CDG at 10:45AM Thursday, May 17 and planning to take the TGV Mediterranee train to Avignon. Should I purchase the tickets and return back to Paris now?

You will save lots of money if you book them over www.voyages-sncf.com or www.idtgv.com as soon as possible.

Peslie, be sure to allow time for your flight to be late.

And be sure you know which terminal you're arriving at. If you fly into Aérogare 1, you'll need to allow time to transfer to Aérogare 2.

ANd yes, buy PREM fares now online to save lots of money.

Thank you all. I did get prems tickets, printed the tickets and have the assigned seats.

Bon voyage. Don't fall asleep just before Avignon when a big bridge over the Rhone suddenly splits in two with one branch going to Montpellier and the other branch going to Avignon-Aix-Marseille. Breathtaking view.
