Of course they are booking for next spring. How else can you book it online if they are not accepting bookings for next year? Double bookings are never a smart idea either.

The OP can book through an online website and be done with it. There is no reason to waste time with email or telephone bookings when there are so many sites to book through esp as the OP is not used to international communications.

Yet another thought: I too like to contact hotels directly, but sometimes it's just easier to use the booking sites (I like booking.com). When I do use a booking site, I often ask questions or put in special requests and ask for a return message from the hotel. Usually works just fine.

<I'd rather deal with them directly instead of the using other hotel booking options.>

My take on this is that you tried your way, and it seems not to have worked. So now you can either call directly, which I understand seems intimidating at first but is really doable; or you can give in and use an online booking site. I would go with the booking site, myself.

(You don't say how long you've been waiting for a response. IME and as others have said, it may take longer that you'd imagine for any number of good reasons.)

I certainly cannot help because Google does not know a single hotel in Paris just called "Hotel Luxembourg" although there are about a dozen places with Luxembourg as part of the name.

The question is not clear, no address has been given, so it is pointless to waste my time.

This is not sarcasm either.

I was just going to ask "Where's kerouac?", so thanks for clearing that up.

We could also ask 'where is the OP ?'
