Actually, with a minimum of French, one can get the answer from the system itself, choosing the various modes of transportation:
Actually, with a little more French, one can get the answer by ticking the box marked Le moins de marche à pied to find that it's Bus 47 to bus 24.

Robespierre,
But I think that a direct bus is preferable to a transfer. It also turns out that the metro stop Cardinal Lemoine may have been misleading since the OP then mentioned Jussieu, at which point walking around the Faculté des Sciences might be the best bet to catch the 63 bus.

Resolve that question using the Robespierre Handy-Dandy Bus Guide: http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...nte-b-cest.cfm

I disagree with those who think changing at Chatelet to line 14 is horrific. I've done it and it isn't bad at all. I think they are thinking of Chatelet-Les Halles station, not Chatelet, but line 14 is very near where you get off. I wouldn't go to the RER line there, but I would line 14. In fact, I have done that exact route as I stayed in an apt. near Censier metro and did that exact same thing. It would be as if you took the Jussieu line to Chatelet and then line 14.
I don't let people pickpocket me and never have problems with that, but that isn't the station they are talking about anyway, I suspect (Chatelet, changing to line 14).

It's true that whether changing at Chatelet involves a route march, or is relatively painless, is all about which lines are involved. I've changed from the RER from CDG to line 1 (with luggage) and not found it particularly bad. But I'd still prefer a bus for this trip.
