Trossachs or Stirling?

Trossachs or Stirling?
I'm planning a weekend trip from Dundee (meeting a friend there), to Fort William and back to Glasgow.
On the way back to Glasgow, I'm not sure whether to pass through Trossachs (Loch Lomond) or via Stirling (Stirling Castle, Fallkirk)
Would the route via Perth, Blair Atholl, Spean Bridge, Fort William, GlenCoe be anything like Trossachs?
Appreciate any advice

I am a bit confused w/ what you are asking. If you went from Dundee > Perth > SpeanBridge > Ft William > Glencoe and from there on to Glasgow you would pass right through the Trossachs. Stirling is just to the east of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond just to the SW of the area. Falkirk is out of the loop.
So if you travel down through Crainlarich/Killin, Callander and on to Loch Lomond you would see terrific Trossachs scenery. And if you detoured just a bit east from Callander you could also see Stirling in addition to the Trossachs.
Stirling/Callander/Loch Lomond are all close together.

Thanks for the clarification. I was not sure whether it would be possible to visit Stirling on the way south from Glencoe.
Was looking at the map on viamichellin and it seemed to be a bit out of the way.
Wondering through... we plan to take morning drive to Glenfinnan from Fort Wiilliam, then retrace our way back and drive through Glencoe towards Glasgow. Enroute to pass through Trossachs - Loch Lomond & visit Stirling castle.
Is all that doable in 1 day? Our trip is in early June.

Oh - you meant going to Glasgow all in one day. Well w/ an <u>early</u> start you could drive to glenfinan then back through glencoe and make it to Stirling by mid afternoon. Stirling Castle takes at least 2 hours to explore. So you would want to be there by 4:00 at the latest since it closes at 6 p.m.
It will be light very late in June so you would have LOTS of time to drive along Loch Lomond and a bit more of the Trossachs countryside after that.
It will be a long day but certainly doable. Remember - the scenery never closes, so after sites w/ admission hours (like Glencoe Visitors Center and Stirling Castle) you can drive around and see beautiful places until after 10:00 p.m. . . . .
