Thanks for all of the kind replies, this was sort of a hybrid betrothal ceremony; since last I posted on Fodors (several years back) I have undergone 2 job changes, 3 moves and one divorce.. ahh LIFE! This was meant to be something of a precursor to a marriage vow.. it was called a symbolic ceremony, since to get legally married in France you need 30 days residence; What gal doesn't dream of getting married in a castle in France???? Well, at least I certainly always have. I actually bought a wedding dress off of the rack at a bridal shop and packed it in my carry-on... LOL I may post a picture link if anyone is interested. I just can't say enough about this woman who coordinated, she must have looked at 15 places for the ceremony, all booked of course since it was Valentine's day; seriously I was asking her if she does other countries as well, she was really great to work with.If you ever hear of anyone needing event coordination in France.. please pass along her info!

Oh and PS: No I certainly don't work for or with her.. I am in Marketing in California..LOL as I recall several years back there were some scam posters with vested interest in getting you to their hotel or tour. I am just a satisfied customer (it's so scary to send money overseas without knowing how it will work out, so you need to really reward the good guys, IMHO) Happy Travels to you all !
