Although I've not heard of the Four Aces rendition, I've heard of the one by Ole Blue Eyes - and it's not exactly one of his better songs. <BR>I'll take a blind shot and go with The Four Aces (I'm going look around for a downloadable version - anybody knows where?).

I would say based on the responses, even most of the responders agree with me. This May, we were there on a Saturday night at 10:00 p.m. & alas, no lights. Another question in the same vein...Who sang the song "Al Di La" (sp?) in the movie A Rome Adventure with Troy Donahue and Suzanne Pleshette, or do you know anyone who did a cover of the song? I'm looking for a copy.

Hey! The coin deal works! My wife and I tossed one in Trevi in summer of 1971 and returned to do it again in summer of 1998. <BR> <BR>This last time we also got to see a drunk kid in the middle of the water scooping up the coins that people were tossing at him. The cops just waited peacefully until the kid headed to shore and picked him and his money up. <BR>You don't see that in the movies! Plus, in 1998 the fountain was clean and lighted at night. <BR> <BR>Go Frank!
