trenitalia: youth fare questions

I'm under 26. I want to book some rail tickets on trenitalia.com. My questions:

1.) Do I book as an "Adult" or "Youth"?
(I don't know what qualifies for a youth fare)

2.) Also, I tried to search for fares... and on the results page, there are these types of fares (pull-down menu): "Interra", "Carta Blu", etc... What do those mean???

Help please!!!!

thank you!

Hi B,

Those between 11 and 25 can buy a card that allows reduced fares. Unless you will be in Italy for a long stay, or will be taking a large number of train rides, you might as well accept that you are now an adult.

PS,

Intera is full fare.

Go down to the bottom of the fares menu. There are 15E, 29E and 39E prices. If they are available for your train you will get those.
