Travelling from Tuscany to Paris by car

we are driving in August from Arezzo, Tuscany to Paris and wondered if anyone had advice about the best routes? We will be taking it in 2 days as we would like to stop during the trip halfway. Does anyone know of good websites where you can plan your drive to find out if roads will be closed, if there are tolls etc? I'm looking for the fastest route but also hopefully some nice views on the way. Any advice or information you could provide would be great.
Thanks

I hope this doesn't involve a rental car, as it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to pick up in one country and drop off in another.

Fastest route and nice scenery don't tend to overlap. I agree that Michelin is your best bet, but add 20-25% to the times it recommends.
