Traveling to Capri for honeymoon!

Hello! new here!

We are going to Capri for our honeymoon next month - staying at the Punta Tragara hotel.
What are the must see and do things in Capri while we are there (for a week) and also, what is the typical weather at that time?

Any advice/suggestions is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

My daughter and I visited there in mid-Sept. last year. We actaully had some rain but most days had quite a bit of sun and nice for being poolside in the afternoon and exploring in the morning. I think you will like the location of your hotel - it is a bit of a walk from Capri town, but not strenous and a gorgeous setting. We did some walking/hiking in that same area and just FYI some of our expeditions got a bit much for us. There is a bathing club down the cliff from you that wwe went down to check out and the walk UP UP UP about did us in. Later we found out you can take a boat from down below over to the marina and then a bus. Also we headed out to the natural arch I think, that was a pleasant trek but then we went further down and around and UP UP UP again. I walk here three miles a day so am not totally out of shape but the climbs along the cliffs were pretty intense and there was no way to know how rigourous it would be until too late - buy maybe we are just wusses - plenty of older Europeans were treking around saying "its not a hard walk!". The chair lift at Anacapri was delightful. I enjoyed the Blue Grotto too - you can go by boat and even tho you wait a bit its fun to watch the people slipping in and out. Also you can go by land via another bathing club at the end of the island - that would make a pleasant day. Have a wonderful time! SueC1

We went to Ravello and Capri on our HM last year. Must say that after Ravello, Capri was a bit disappointing. That being said, the best thing we did was hire a little boat for the day to take us around the island and visit and swim in the various grottos. The boat was small but nice as it had tons of tarrycloth cushions to lounge on. It wasn't too expensive, mayb 150Euro for the day.

You have chosen a lovely spot for your honeymoon. We stayed at the Villa Brunella about a block from your hotel and the location and view are perfect. A few of our favorites were lunch at La Fontrelina and then we had a boat, arranged thru hotel, pick us up at restaurant and take us out to the Emerald Grotto and around the island. We had heard the trip to the Blue Grotto is very touristy. It is very easy to hire a boat and driver. Other spots we liked for dinner were the restaurant at Vill Brunella,Al Grottino and La Campanina. We had wanted to go to Da Paolino but it was closed due to a wedding reception. Be sure to go the square for drinks before dinner. It is great people watching as the island changes when the crowds leave on the last ferry.
Spend an afternoon on Anacapri. The chair lift is fun and a beautiful view. Go the Villa San Michele as it is interesting and very pretty. We had luch at Da Gelsomina, which was excellent. Have them pick you up as the walk is much long than stated in guide books.
If you are interested in cashmere go to La Farella on Capri. They will make any color in any style in days. Have a great trip and wishing you much happiness.

Thanks all for your responses!
We are excited to go there and wanted to make sure we didn't miss out on any of the activities and sites on Capri. The chair lift and Blue Grotto are definitly at the top of our list!
We are hoping to take a day trip to Positano as well.

Thanks.

Capri is beautiful. I was there only for one afternoon, sadly, but was very moved by the island. I ate at a restaurant called "Ristorante Aurora" which was great. http://www.auroracapri.com/
