Traveling into Brussels and out of Paris need help planning another country

Will be flying into Brussels on Sept 29th, figured we would do Brussels, Bruge, and possibly another city in Belgium. Want to spend 4 days/nights in Paris. We have another 2-3 nights to spend in another country. I need some suggestions. My husband was just in Amsterdam so that is out. I have not been to Europe since 97 and may not be back for many years. So I want to see as much as possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You say you want to see as much as possible, but instead of cramming in too much to a trip, it's best to make good use of your time. 4 days in Paris really isn't much, as there is so much to see in and around the city. I really think your extra time would be well spent in Paris, then you can do a few day trips from Paris if you want to get out of the city. Please remember that a good trip to Europe is not about seeing as many countries as possible, but rather getting the most enjoyment and quality of time from your trip. Bon Voyage!!

I'd definely stay in Paris or add Antwerp to my Belgium itinerary. I found Antwerp much more interesting than either Brussels or Brugges

Hey kb,

>Want to spend 4 days/nights in Paris. We have another 2-3 nights to spend ....<

I can't see why anyone would want to go elsewhere if they have a chance to add some time to Paris.

I agree! Spend the extra days in Paris. No matter how long we stay on each trip, we leave with lots that we didn't have time to do. Paris is a fabulous experience and, as noted above, there are lots of wonderful places to visit on day trips.
