Travel to Spain

Which Spanish city is the most inexpensive to fly into from LAX.

Which months may airfare be more affordable? March April or May?

Also consider flying into London and then flying flying BA from Gatwick to a selection of Spanish cities (check out the BA website, fares from Gatwick are usually far lower than from LHR) or flying on Ryanair or Easyjet from Stansted.

I don't believe there are any flights direct to Spain from LAX.

I usually fly into Madrid from the US or London. Since Madrid is the largest city with the most flights from the US (and likely London) I usually get the best prices into Madrid.

March and April will probably be similarly priced but May could be slightly higher. The best fare I've purchased was for $580 USD just last month.
