Travel insurance

We are taking a river cruise plus a few days before & after the cruise on or own. Can you recommend a good travel insurance co? The ins offered by Amawaywater doesn't seem to be very cost effective.

What country do you live in? You need insurance sold where you live. That will help others advise.

Squaremouth is good. You can put in your criteria of what you want covered and they will list the options. I usually just take the cheapest one that covers my options.

I use both Squaremouth and Insuremy trip. Sometimes there are insurance on one site and not the other. I also find calling them is useful as I find their agents to be quite knowledgeable and helpful. Have more experience with Insuremytip than Squaremoouth.

I have used insuremytrip for various vendors with great success in 2 occasions ( be aware that most require insurance coverage to be bought within 14-21 days of initial travel booking, in order to cover any preexisting conditions).
