Travel Insurance
I need to buy coverage for an upcoming trip to France in July. For many years I have used Travel Guard (now AIG), but this time I find their prices higher than others. Using Squaremouth and Insure My Trip, I find Trawick and IMG have better prices and coverage but I am not familiar with them. They seem to have good ratings. Just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them, good or not. Need to pull the trigger soon to get the pre-existing conditions waiver included. Thanks.

I use either Insuremy trip and sometimes Squaremouth. I find calling Insuremytrip is most helpful. Have only called Squarmouth once. I have used both Trawick and Travel guard and IMG in the past and have had no issues but I should note that I have only had to file a claim once.

Thanks for your response. I did buy the IMG policy through Insure My Trip and hope I will never need to file a claim. Travel Guard was very easy to deal with and paid fully the two times we had to cancel big trips, but I was very surprised at how much more expensive their quotes were for this trip for essentially the same coverage.
