Travel Games
Trains, planes and automobiles with the possibilty of rain. I do have an excellent selections of books, and enjoy the odd game of cards. From travel scrabble to marbles, has anyone any fun recommendations of travel games?

We play scrabble on our Palm Pilot; it's a lot easier to manage than the travelling board and it's an instant conversation starter w/people in cafes/pubs. We love to play Cribbage too and have met lots of interesting people (many Canadian) while playing.
I can't wait to hear what others do to pass the time.
Another favourite is the "look it's so and so game." Basically you look for people who resemble friends/family/celebrities and then the next person has to find someone. This is fun to play in airports/trainstations, although it can get annoying when one of you wishes to stop the game and the other won't--but I guess that's true of all games. It's also embarassing when you burst out laughing at your waiter just because he looks like old uncle Fred.

We used to make up crossword puzzles for each other to solve. The clues would have to do with places we had been or other running jokes from the trip. When I complained that a particular puzzle was too easy, the next one contained clues like "A town in Asia."
