Travel from Brussels to Venice
I am looking for discount airlines other than Rynair that fly between Brussels and Venice. The Rynair flight leaves quite early and I would like more departure time options. Any recommendations about driving or taking a train between the two cities? I have a short time in Venice, so I have been hesitant to spend a day travelling between the two cities.

Teer,
The airline that actually operates the flights europebyair.com books you on is SN Brussels airlines. They have 3 flights a day and leave from the "real" Brussels airport, not Charleroi. I would check their site as well to check if you can get an equivalent or even cheaper fare from them directly:
www.flysn.com
Hope this helps,
Andre

By the way, I don't think that the $99 on europebyair includes airport taxes.
I used europebyair in 2002 and I was quite happy with them. Back then I didn't really have the smarts to check directly with the individual airlines, etc.
I just faced a similar decision recently with a few tickets and I choose to book directly with Virgin Express and Aegean Airlines. Since the Euro is now at a premium relative to the Dollar, I found the $99 fare actually fairly competitive. It doesn't include airport taxes, as I said, but the change rules are quite liberal -- basically I think that you can change your flights as long as there's advance notice with no penalty if you book through europebyair. But I decided to book directly with the airlines anyway.

Ryanair flies from Charleroi, which is not really Brussels South as they put it. They fly to Treviso, not Venice. It would take a day to travel to Venice by train or car.
By the way, Virgin has just introduced a surcharge on their ticket prices because of higher fuel prices. SN may follow suit.
