Travel from Bellagio to Milan?

We will be traveling from Bellagio (Lake Como) to Milan in June. We are then trying to catch a EuroStar train that departs Milan at 8:55 a.m. As I understand, there is not a train station in Bellagio. Can anyone offer advice on how to travel from Bellagio to Milan in the early morning (around 6:00 am)?

I am not sure how to find out how early in the morning the ferry runs to Como. Is a private car service an option or are there taxis in Bellagio that can take you to the train station in Como en route to Milan?

Your best bet would be to catch the earliest ferry to Varenna at 06.20.
(This goes via Menaggio, but still gets you to Varenna before 07.00)

This would allow you to catch the 07.24 train from Varenna, arriving at Milan Centrale at 08.30

Hope this helps ...

Ironically we are planning to travel from Milan to Bellagio so I needed the reverse information. We are just in the beginning stages of planning our first trip to Italy in June. We fly into Milan and plan to visit Rome, Florence and perhaps Lake Como? All suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

Does anyone know how long the drive is from Bellagio to the train station in Milan? We have a car service reserved, but would like to be sure we are allowing enough time to catch our train. Thanks.

Have you told the car service what time you have to be at Milano Centrale to catch that train? I'd advise doing so.

The time it will take to drive may very well depend on the route the driver takes.
